Introducing the 2025 Gold Coast Billy Cart Club Showdown!
We're dedicated to supporting Billy Cart events and the community groups which put in countless hours to organise and run these massive events which can attract hundreds of spectators to regional towns.
That's why we're launching our own online competition, one which will operate independently of each of the organising groups, encouraging more competitors to travel to these events in order to score points in our Showdown.
This year the organisers of the Bangalow Billy Cart Derby, Lockyer Valley Billy Cart Derby & Woodhill Billy Cart Derby have all given the green light for us to trial an online survey/competition that utilises both attendance & results from each independently organised event to award points.
So how does the Showdown work? Simple, you will score points based on event attendance, your results at each event, cart design and a bunch of bonus points, these points are then tallied and a winner is announced. Entry is free, just submit the entry form below and you're set! We'll follow up with more details after that.
As we're just doing a trial run this year prizes are bragging rights only. Though if the trial is a success we'll be back bigger & better for 2026 and beyond with prizes & more.

The Gold Coast Billy Cart Club Showdown's Points System
Up to 500 points are available for competitors across three independently organised events in SEQ/Northern NSW, with up to 100 points allocated per event, up to 100 points allocated for cart design & up to 100 bonus points.

Design & Creativity
